Food safety is our top priority at Hugh Branch. Consumer health, nutrition, safe, ethical, sustainable farming is at the forefront of our vision and purpose. This begins with only using the best seed varieties, planted in rich soil by farmers that have made growing not only a career but also a lifestyle. All of the crews are trained on the importance of proper operating procedures, food safety and food security.
Our full time food safety staff monitors the farms, as well as, packing and shipping operations. Daily and hourly inspections are done by our staff to ensure the policies written by our team are always carried out and working as effectively as possible. All of our farms, processing facilities, storage facilities and shipping points are third party audited to verify and validate our practices.
